Our Corporate History
Founded in 2011 and focusing on cybersecurity, Compass Federal Consulting (CFC) has made its name advancing the mission of Federal Government, higher education, healthcare IT, and private sector clients through the application of risk-based security practices.
Our Executive Team averages over twenty years of experience across multiple cybersecurity disciplines. They guide every customer engagement and hand-select each CFC staff member to find the perfect mix of skillset, experience, and certifications.

Our Executive Team
Peter has over 22 years of Information Security experience, having built several Information Security practices and run dozens of security projects before founding Compass in 2011.
As a Business major, he brings a refreshing perspective that allows security to support the business by helping Security Managers, ISSOs and C-level customers focus on understanding, prioritizing and managing IT Security risks.
He played two sports in college and brings a strong competitiveness to everything he does, pushing his customers and staff to achieve their most ambitious goals.
As a father of two, he appreciates the need for a proper work-life balance and believes in the “work-hard, play-hard” adage.
With over 25 years of experience in Information Technology and 20 years dedicated to Cybersecurity, Jeremy has supported Fortune 50 enterprises, Federal agencies, and international non-profits in various Cyber Security disciplines.
Over the years he has accepted the challenge to apply security best practices to organizations of all shapes and sizes.
When not helping clients integrate security risk management concepts into their business operations, Jeremy can be found in various corners of the world, usually with a snowboard or surfboard in hand.
